About Dr Abhipsa Sharma
Dr. Amit Pathak is a Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist with over 10 years of experience in the field. He completed his MBBS from MIMER Medical College, Pune, followed by an M.S. in and D.N.B. in Ophthalmology. He then pursued a Glaucoma Fellowship at the prestigious Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai. Post-fellowship, he continued at Aravind Eye Hospital as a Medical Consultant for an additional year, gaining extensive experience in both medical and surgical ophthalmology.
Dr. Pathak has in-depth knowledge and expertise in cataract surgery, including routine and complicated microsurgeries, and is proficient in implanting all types of premium intraocular lenses.
He also has significant experience in glaucoma management, performing a wide range of surgical and laser procedures. His key areas of interest include the medical and surgical treatment of primary and secondary glaucomas, combined cataract and glaucoma surgeries, and Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS).
He is an active member of several national and international ophthalmological societies.
