She completed her MBBS and MS in ophthalmology from Assam Medical College and hospital, Dibrugarh, Assam in 2017.She worked as a medical officer (ophthalmology) in Bezera CHC – FRU from 2017- 2019.After that she did a long term fellowship (2019-2022)in anterior segment microsurgery and IOL(SICS and Phaco) from Aravind eye hospital, Madurai, Tamilnadu. She successfully participated in Alcon’s Phaco Development (PD) training in 2021.
