Dr. Pooja Patel is a committed, hardworking, and highly focused ophthalmologist with over six years of experience in the field. She completed her MBBS from Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education and Research (SMIMER), Surat, followed by an M.S. in Ophthalmology from Gujarat Adani Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhuj.
Driven by a deep interest in her specialty, Dr. Pooja pursued an advanced fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus, and Neuro-ophthalmology from the prestigious Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital in Delhi.
Dr. Pooja specializes in complex cataract and squint surgeries for both adults and children. She is experienced in the management of pediatric eye conditions, neuro-ophthalmological disorders, and amblyopia (lazy eye). She is also actively involved in ROP (Retinopathy of Prematurity) screening.
With over 8,000 cataract surgeries to her credit—including advanced techniques such as topical phacoemulsification and the use of premium IOLs like trifocal, EDOF, toric, and multifocal lenses—she is highly regarded for her exceptional surgical skill and clinical acumen.
