She completed her MBBS from GMC, Miraj following which she pursued DOMS at the prestigious Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital and DNB Ophthalmology from Lions NAB Eye Hospital, Miraj. Dr Hemangi has also been awarded the highly acclaimed international ophthalmic degree of FICO by the International Council of Ophthalmology, London. 
 
Dr Hemangi is a proficient cataract surgeon well versed in the techniques of Phacoemulsification as well as SICS and ECCE. She has operated more than 10000 cataract surgeries. She has an exhaustive experience of working at multiple high volume Private as well as Government and Charitable institutes and has handled various complicated and difficult cases.
