Dr. Rahul has more than 10 years of working experience in ophthalmology. He has done his MBBS from Nair Hospital, Mumbai and MS from Shyam Shah Medical college, Rewa (M.P.) before joining the prestigious Nethradhama Super specialty Eye Hospital Bangalore for pursuing Fellowship.
Dr. Rahul specializes in Phacoemulsification cataract surgery with a keen interest in Premium IOLs (Multifocal,Toric) surgery. He has vast experience in performing complicated cataract surgeries (small pupil, ppc cataract, pediatrics cataract). He has done more than 500 successful Refractive surgeries (Lasik, ICL, CLE). Dr Rahul has been doing management of Keratoconus and C3R procedure since many years. He has performed 200+ Glaucoma and combined surgeries (cataract + glaucoma).
Apart from the clinical experience he has many publications in National and International Journals. He is also an esteemed member of various National and State Ophthalmic Societies.
