He is excellent in managing different types of complicated cataract cases, also those associated with systemic comorbidities. By using his experience in implanting premium intraocular lenses like multifocal and toric lenses, he has been able to provide customized visual rehabilitation with spectacle-freedom to his cataract patients.
Along with that, he’s also an experienced Glaucoma surgeon with in-depth knowledge of managing other anterior segment disorders. He also specializes in managing all types of complicated Uvea cases and was trained under renowned professor Dr. Jyotirmay Biswas at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai for the same during his fellowship tenure.

He is an expert in management of medical retina in various conditions like diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration (ARMD), retinitis pigmentosa and is well versed in performing retinal lasers and intravitreal injections. His special interest also lies in screening premature babies at risk for Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) and its management at the earliest.
