He is an alumnus of Goa Medical College and subsequently did his long-term fellowship in Cornea and Anterior Segment from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai. He also underwent short term trainings at LV Prasad Eye Institute and Sankara Eye Hospital.
He is an Assessor for National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare providers and is currently pursuing his MBA in Healthcare from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
His key areas of interest include Refractive Corneal Surgery, Phaco Cataract Surgery, ICL Surgery, Keratoconus, Lamellar corneal surgeries, Glaucoma, Stem cell transplantation and Eye banking.
He has presented at various State and National conferences and co-authored a chapter in Textbook of Refractive Surgery. He has several publications in peer reviewed journals.
