Dr. Shams tabrez is experienced medical professional with nearly 2 years of work experience in the field of medical and surgical ophthalmology along with MBBS and DO MS (Ophthalmology) from AMU Aligarh, and DNB (Ophthalmology) from Choithram netralaya Indore.He has done phacoemulsification fellowship from SUSRUT Eye Foundation &Research Center ,kolkata ,West Bengal. His expertise lies in diagnosing and managing all the medical and emergency cases of anterior and posterior segment of eye with specialization in surgical management of anterior segment with special interest in phacoemulsification. He has also keen interest in low vision aids and paediatric ophthalmology and squint.

He has performed over 3000 cataract surgeries and is a competent and skilled surgeon with a very sound clinical knowledge. He is proficient in performing Phacoemulsification, MICS, SICS, including complicated cases, Pterygium excision with conjunctival autografting, DCT, Conjunctival mass excisions, intravitreal injections, and managing ocular trauma cases.

He has presented several papers and physical poster at prestigious national ophthalmology conferences and has several publications in index journal like IJO, DJO, ACSO etc.
